This summer my fiancé and I decided to buy our first home together. A home where many happy memories will be made. A friend of mine referred us to Robyn. Having no knowledge of home prices, real-estate or anything my fiancé and I were a pretty nervous couple. The first meeting with Robyn was great. She made us feel comfortable and we felt like we had made the right decision going with her. Right away Robyn wanted us to get a list of our wants and must haves. We talked about our budget, where we wanted to live, etc. Within 3-4 days, we started getting listings via email that Robyn had set up for us. All the houses fit our criteria. Robyn was really great about keeping in our budget and really paying attention to what we were looking for. House hunting with Robyn was great. She could go into any house and immediately point out water damage, foundation issues, spacing problems, etc… Little things that could be a big deal later on. She also had great ideas on decorating! My fiancé and I were getting married in a few months so we wanted to find a house ASAP. We knew we were rushing the process but we were just so excited for our first home together. After looking for about a month and a half, we found the house of our dreams. Robyn negotiated with the seller to get us a good deal on closing costs and the price of the house. When our financing fell through my fiancé and I were crushed. We thought that the past few months were going to be for nothing. Robyn helped us hold on to our house while we established a new loan. She was very calm and collect the entire time. I don’t know if she really appreciated all the frantic 10:00 pm calls I made to her checking on different things. But she was great. The moment that we were able to meet Robyn at our house and get the keys from her was the greatest moment ever. She was there for us every step of the way. I will recommend Robyn to anyone that is looking to buy/sell a home. She knows what she is doing!
